Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for ground system development in Merritt Island, FL. This role manages scope, schedule, budgets, risks, and change control across the full lifecycle, coordinating with DSCE, CAD, Facilities, Safety/EHS, Quality, Finance and Supply Chain units.

You will develop right-sized capital estimates, lead checkpoint reviews, and serve as Budget Owner for multi‑project portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering or related STEM field.
• 8+ years managing complex, cross‑organizational engineering capital projects.
• Experience as Budget Owner with delegated cost approval authority.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks and change control across full lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, WBS, milestones and resource plans.
• Act as primary project contact for internal business units and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Construction Project Managers, Supply Chain and external vendors.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement recovery plans when needed.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.
