Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Project Engineer for the Controls team within Advanced Engines. You will own the integrated master schedule, drive cross-disciplinary technical integration, and ensure smooth transitions from development to testing and production.

You will lead daily cadences, unblock blockers, and coordinate with suppliers to meet milestones, while maintaining control of ICDs and technical trade-offs across multiple engineering domains.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, Controls, or Software Engineering (or related technical discipline).
• 8+ years of progressive experience in engineering project management or technical leadership delivering complex hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Own the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across software sprints, PLC logic releases, and test activations.
• Identify critical paths and drive schedule recovery plans.
• Drive Daily Engineering Cadence & Unblocking with standups and syncs.
• Lead cross-discipline technical integration between Controls and Mechanical/Thermal/Fluids.
• Manage ICDs and resolve inter-team trade-offs.
• Coordinate milestone reviews and ensure configuration baselines are met.
• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain on long-lead procurement and FATs.
• Maintain risk registers and enforce change-management across releases.
• Support Branch operations and delegation when needed.
