Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead enterprise project controls across a large portfolio of municipal, industrial, and federal projects. The role focuses on governance, systems, analytics, and talent to drive safe, profitable, and predictable project delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
15+ years of related experience.
PMP or PgM certification required.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise project controls strategy and governance across business units and regions.
Establish controls approaches for integrated delivery models (design-build, CMAR, etc.).
Strengthen budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and change management.
Develop leading indicators and dashboards for margin, backlog, and delivery risk.
Lead modernization of platforms, data, and workflows with AI-enabled forecasting.
Establish scalable document management and control standards.
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve predictability and profitability.
Develop and mentor schedulers, cost controllers, and document control professionals.
