Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Project Controls Lead Analyst for Renewables. You will lead a Project Controls function or team, applying advanced cost control and scheduling techniques with minimal supervision.

You’ll manage forecasts, risks and change while guiding staff across complex projects and proposals. The role requires a four-year degree with 8+ years in cost control or scheduling; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with eight or more years of Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leads a Project Controls (PJC) function or a team of PJC professionals. Drives forecasting accuracy and proactive issue escalation.
• Leads cost control on complex projects: reporting, forecasting, quantity tracking, change management, risk analysis.
• Leads planning/scheduling: float analysis, earned value, startup planning, constructability; forensic scheduling expertise.
• Leads and develops a team of project controls professionals; ensures tools and processes are in place; collaborates with management on issues and trends.
• Escalates project issues to PJC leadership and supports project reviews and actions.
