Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a Director of Project Controls to lead the project controls department across renewables projects, driving earned value, scheduling, cost forecasting and talent development.

You will implement processes, mentor staff, and partner with senior leadership to deliver safe, on-time, and within-budget results across multiple offices.

Requires 15+ years in project management/controls, PMP/PSP preferred, and renewable energy construction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in PM/CM/Engineering or related major.
• PMP/PSP/PSPPMI-SP certifications preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in project management and/or project controls.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Renewable energy construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project controls team including earned value, budget/cost estimating, scheduling and forecasting.
• Supervise scheduling efforts and develop baseline progress plans and reports.
• Provide data-driven guidance to ensure accurate project costs and schedules.
• Develop and improve control processes and reporting across projects.
• Coordinate with estimating and operations on project estimates and changes.
