Job summary

Black & Veatch invites an experienced professional to join as Project Controls Lead Analyst in a multi-location setting across the US. You will independently apply advanced project controls techniques, lead cost control and scheduling teams, and provide leadership for complex renewables projects.

With an emphasis on forecasting accuracy, risk analysis, and proactive issue resolution, you’ll mentor junior staff, collaborate with management, and ensure alignment with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a four-year Bachelor's degree with eight+ years of cost control or planning & scheduling experience.
• Alternatively, ten+ years of relevant experience without a Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to lead and mentor project control professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Project Controls (PJC) function or team with minimal supervision.
• Ensure high forecasting accuracy and proactive issue escalation.
• Lead cost control and scheduling efforts across complex projects.
• Review contract language and ensure compliance with cost and schedule requirements.
• Support staffing of projects and proposals, and provide development opportunities.
