Job summary

MasTec Renewables, part of MasTec Renewables family, seeks a Project Controls Manager to oversee practices across multiple projects. The role may be remote with travel to office locations; location flexible within the US.

Requires expertise in project controls, CPM scheduling and cost forecasting with a PMP preferred. You'll lead training, manage teams, and drive improvements in scheduling, budgeting and performance analysis across large-scale construction projects in renewables and EPC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or related field or equivalent.
• 8+ years of related experience in project controls, cost scheduling and planning.
• 2+ years of CPM schedule integration or cost control with personnel management.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience in large-scale construction/EPC environments; renewables experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate project scope, plan and progress to stakeholders.
• Provide management and training on project controls tools and procedures.
• Advise project management on forecasting, trends, performance, and claims.
• Coordinate resources for project controls activities.
• Lead reviews on budgets, change management, and schedule performance.
• Develop practices and procedures and support PM/Controls tool use.
