Job summary

Vantage Data Centers LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls Manager to oversee cost, budgets and forecasting for data center construction projects. You will drive cost control, improve processes, and collaborate with project managers, engineers and procurement to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Finance or Engineering and 3–5 years in construction cost management, preferably in data centers;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required with 3–5 years of cost management experience.
• Strong cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
• Experience in data center construction or technology infrastructure preferred.
• Proficiency with construction management software and financial tools such as Procore.

Responsibilities

• Budget management: develop, lead, and monitor project budgets.
• Cost estimation and control: prepare estimates, track expenses, analyze variances.
• Financial reporting: provide cost-to-complete forecasts and variance analysis.
• Vendor and contract management: negotiate contracts and review bids.
• Risk management: identify financial risks and implement mitigations.
• Process improvement: establish cost-control processes and best practices.
• Collaboration: align with project managers, engineers, procurement, and partners.
• Compliance: ensure practices meet policy, standards, and regulatory requirements.
