Job summary

HDR is seeking a North America Project Controls Lead within the Building Engineering Services group to develop and implement project controls practices on large programs, including data centers and commercial projects. You will lead a team of project controls professionals, coordinating with project managers, and driving schedule, cost, and performance improvements across BES.

This role offers exposure to high-impact projects and a collaborative culture within HDR’s employee-owned structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or closely related field.
• 10+ years as project controls manager on BES infrastructure projects.
• Experience with scheduling, cost estimating, and PMIS.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiar with multiple delivery methods (DBB, DB, EPCm, IPD, CMAR).

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls across BES North America, coordinating with PMs and staff.
• Develop and implement project controls plans, templates, and KPI.
• Mentor staff and ensure capability across regions.
• Collaborate with PMIS team to select tech solutions.
• Provide program performance summaries to HDR and clients.
