Job summary

HDR is seeking a North America Project Controls Lead within the Building Engineering Services group to develop and implement project controls across data centers, hotels, finance and other BES projects. You will lead a team of project controls professionals, set up templates, and work with program managers to ensure scope, schedule, and budget adherence.

Preferred candidates bring 10+ years in project controls, strong leadership, and experience with scheduling and cost control tools such as MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years serving as project controls manager for BES infrastructure projects with large contract values.
• Ability to manage proposals, contract reviews, client relations and win strategies for large EPC projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular coordination across BES to drive project controls practices.
• Lead staffing for project controls on pursuits and execution phases.
• Monitor performance and drive measures to improve project outcomes.
• Develop templates for project controls plans, cost, schedule and progress management.
• Coordinate with regional leads and cross-functional teams to share best practices.
