Job summary

HDR is seeking a North America Project Controls Lead to develop and implement project controls across the Building Engineering Services (BES) group. The role will manage schedule, cost, and performance for data centers, hotels, finance, and other BES projects with Senior leadership oversight.

You will lead a team of project controls professionals, establish templates, and drive continuous improvement across multiple locations in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project controls for large infrastructure programs preferred.
• Ability to manage proposals, contracts, client relationships and win strategies for large EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular coordination across BES project controls team to drive schedule, cost, and performance.
• Lead development of project controls plans, templates, and standards across programs.
• Mentor staff, recruit talent, and share best practices across regions.
