Job summary

HDR is seeking a North America Project Controls Lead to develop and implement project controls practices across the Building Engineering Services Group. You will lead a team of controls specialists, coordinate with project managers, and drive schedule, cost, and performance improvements on data center, hotel, finance, and BES projects.

As part of HDR, you will mentor staff, promote collaboration, and leverage industry best practices to deliver projects on time and within budget, supporting HDR’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years as project controls manager for BES infrastructure projects > $100M each.
• Experience in scheduling, cost estimating, forecasting, and project reporting.
• Ability to manage proposals, contracts, client relations and win strategies for large EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead BES project controls practice across programs, coordinating with staff and directors.
• Manage project controls staffing during pursuit and execution phases.
• Collaborate with PMIS team to implement data management solutions and dashboards.
• Provide comprehensive project performance summaries to HDR and clients.
