Job summary

WSP USA in North Carolina seeks a Senior Project Coordinator to support our Earth & Environment Team. You will provide proactive project controls, reporting, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle, interfacing with PMs, finance teams, and leadership to drive timely decisions.

Responsibilities include budget setup, forecast updates, risk and variance analysis, and ensuring accurate financial visibility. Strong Excel skills and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in project controls or project finance.
• Experience coordinating with PMs, finance, and operations.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support project setup, budget controls, and forecast updates.
• Coordinate with PMs, PFA, PFO, and leadership on reporting.
• Prepare budget status updates and variance explanations.
• Maintain project documentation and closeout activities.
• Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable support.
• Help keep Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) low on projects.
