Job summary

FALCATA is seeking a Project Controls Analyst IV in the Arlington, VA area. The role supports programs to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery, reporting to the Project Controls Lead.

Remote options are available for candidates located in the DC Metro area. The ideal candidate has 8-10 years of project controls experience, DoD contracting background, and strong Excel skills to develop estimates, forecasts, and burn rate analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in project controls.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain.
• Experience with CPFF, T&M, FFP and other contract types.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience coordinating and managing subcontractor funding.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Analytical and independent problem-solving skills.
• Organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
• Industry experience with DoD contracting.

Responsibilities

• Implement financial policies; develop and manage cost baseline data analysis and report formats.
• Develop and maintain estimates-to-completion and burn rate analyses.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to develop monthly forecasts and financial reporting.
• Forecast financial data for programs and analyze profitability against milestones.
• Participate in planning, tracking analysis and monthly program reviews.
• Maintain monthly budget vs. actual analysis and forecasting reports; identify risks.
• Review monthly financial reports for accuracy and address issues.
• Prepare written and verbal financial analyses for management.
• Collaborate with accounting to resolve AR/AP issues and contract modifications.
