Job summary

Falcata is seeking a Project Controls Analyst IV to support multiple programs in the Arlington, VA/DC Metro area with remote options for local candidates. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure programs remain on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will have 8–10 years of project controls experience, a DoD clearance or ability to obtain, and strong Excel and subcontractor coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in project controls.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience coordinating and managing subcontractor funding.
• Experience with DoD contracting.

Responsibilities

• Implement financial policies; develop and manage cost baseline data analysis and report formats in support of customer contracts.
• Develop and maintain estimates-to-completion, estimates-at-completion, and burn rate analyses.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to develop monthly forecasts, financial reporting and funding requirements with contracts and program management teams.
• Forecast financial data for programs, analyze profitability for contractual milestones, tracking of over/under runs of projects, and prepare profit models.
• Participates in planning, tracking analysis, and reporting on projects of varying contract types, sizes, complexity, and levels of risk, including monthly program reviews.
• Maintain monthly budget vs. actual analysis, create financial forecasts based upon input from PMs and subcontractors, identify risks to Operations.
• Review monthly financial reports for accuracy and identify issues; recommend actions to correct issues including revenue recognition and labor charging.
• Prepare and present numerous financial reports detailing monthly progress of the project.
• Work with accounting to resolve AR/AP issues and coordinate with contracts for new agreements or modifications.
