Job summary

United Utility Services seeks a Project Controls Analyst to join our PMO. The role provides cost controls, data capture, and analytics support for assigned electric utility projects. You will collaborate with PMO, Finance, Accounting, and Construction teams to enable effective forecasting and reporting.

The candidate should have strong Excel skills, Primavera P6 experience, and a track record in project controls within the utility sector. Occasional travel to Hartford offices is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in related field preferred; practical experience considered
• 10+ years of experience in project controls or similar role
• Experience in electric utility sector preferred
• Strong analytical and data management skills

Responsibilities

• Perform cost and schedule analysis with PMs
• Develop/maintain risk registers and monthly reports
• Create and maintain cost tracking tools for forecasting
• Monitor actuals vs budgets and ensure correct coding
• Support monthly close and change orders processing
• Develop financial dashboards and performance reports
• Collaborate across PMO, Finance, Accounting and Construction
