United Utility Services in the United States is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support cost controls, scheduling, data capture, and analytics across transformative projects. The PMO coordinates with other departments to provide controls throughout the project life cycle and requires frequent cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and able to pursue underlying details for risk analysis.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to diagnose problems under time pressure.
• Maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Efficient data capture and analysis using enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and advanced Excel skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or degree equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Drive monthly close with cost/revenue accruals and variance analysis.
• Develop EAC templates and forecast with Project Managers.
• Identify risks and opportunities in forecasts and report to stakeholders.
• Support process improvements for financial systems and dashboards.
• Prepare variance analyses and internal project reviews for management.
• Monitor costs and manpower, ensuring correct job allocations.
• Assist with Change Order processing and cost transfers.
