Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Project Controller III to support our Architecture Practice Group across multiple US locations, including Toledo, OH. You will partner with Project Managers, Architects, Design Leaders, and Practice Leadership to drive financial success for a diverse project portfolio.

The role involves budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and performance reporting; you will develop budgets, monitor costs, and present dashboards to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years in project controls, project accounting, or related disciplines.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and project performance reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Project Managers and leaders to monitor financial performance and delivery metrics.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and performance analyses.
• Monitor costs, schedules, backlog, and KPIs; identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and present project dashboards and reports for leadership.
• Support project setup, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate on scope changes and corrective actions to meet objectives.
• Support monthly reviews and recommendations to improve outcomes.
• Analyze schedules and resource plans to improve workload balance.
• Contribute to development of project controls standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior project controls staff and support proposals.
