Job summary

SSOE is seeking an experienced Project Controller III to support our Architecture Practice Group. You will partner with Project Managers and Design Leaders to drive financial and operational success across a diverse project portfolio.

The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and performance reporting to influence project outcomes and profitability. Collaboration with leadership is essential for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 7+ years in project controls, project accounting, or related disciplines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project performance reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project teams to monitor financial performance, profitability, and delivery metrics.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and analyses.
• Monitor costs, schedules, backlog, and revenue; identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and present dashboards, forecasts, and reports for leadership.
• Support project setup, including budgeting and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate on scope changes and corrective actions to meet objectives.
• Mentor junior project controls staff and support proposals.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
