Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Project Controller III to partner with Project Managers, Architects, and Practice Leadership across a portfolio of architectural projects. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and performance reporting to drive profitability and client outcomes.

You will develop budgets, monitor costs and schedules, and deliver dashboards and analyses to support informed decisions. The position requires extensive experience in project controls and strong collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
• 7+ years of experience in project controls or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project performance reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project financial performance, profitability, resource utilization, and delivery metrics.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and performance analyses.
• Monitor costs, schedules, earned revenue, backlog, and KPIs; identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and present project performance dashboards, forecasts, and reports for teams and leadership.
• Support budget development, cost tracking structures, forecasting models, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams on scope changes and corrective actions.
