Job summary

Dallas City Hall is seeking a Programmer Analyst III to lead a team of programmer/analysts on large city projects. You will plan, administer, operate, and evaluate system changes to support city departments.

You will work with IT service delivery, security, and database teams to ensure incidents and requests are resolved promptly, while developing and testing applications to improve efficiency and user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Four (4) years’ experience in OO programming and database work.
• Experience with large enterprise applications and IT service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of programmer/analysts on large projects for City departments.
• Plan, administer, operate, and evaluate new and existing systems.
• Coordinate with IT service delivery teams for incidents and requests.
• Develop and maintain software, create admin runbooks, and guide users.
