Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Program Planner/Cost Analyst to drive program plans and cost forecasts for the In-Space Systems unit. You will collaborate with Program Managers and IPTs to develop robust schedules, perform EAC updates, and deliver actionable performance insight.

You will mentor PMO staff, manage scope changes, and ensure accurate cost and schedule integration across large data sets for government and commercial programs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of program planning and program finance/business analytics experience for government or commercial contracts, or internally funded R&D programs.
• Working knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and non-earned value environments.
• Proficiency with leading teams through baseline establishment activities with cost/schedule integration for large data sets, major replans, and formal Estimate at Complete updates.
• Control account management including budget baselining, reforecasting, variance analysis, monthly progress reporting, managing EACs.
• Experience in ambiguous environments and ability to earn trust and build relationships in an inclusive culture.
• US citizenship or eligible work status (citizenship/national status per export control).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate program plans integrated with schedules in Primavera P6.
• Lead cost analysis and EAC updates to drive informed program decisions.
• Coordinate with PMO and IPTs to align inputs and forecasts.
• Establish Work Breakdown Structures and control account data structures.
• Provide regular performance metrics and KPIs to program leadership.
• Mentor other cost analysts and advance PMO cost management practices.
