Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a seasoned Program Planner/Cost Analyst to drive integrated program plans and cost forecasts for government and commercial contracts. You will coordinate with IPTs, develop WBS structures, and manage EACs to enable timely, data-driven decisions.

Strong EVMS knowledge and leadership across large data sets are essential. The role emphasizes robust reporting, variance analysis, and continuous process improvements within a culture of safety and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering, project management or other highly analytical field
• 8+ years of program planning and program finance/business analytics experience for government or commercial contracts, or internally funded R&D programs
• Working knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
• Proficiency with leading teams through baseline establishment activities with cost/schedule integration for large data sets, major replans, and formal Estimate at Complete updates
• Control account management including budget baselining, reforecasting, variance analysis, monthly progress reporting, managing EACs

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate program plans integrated with program schedules ( Primavera P6 ) and cost baselines
• Solicit inputs on requirements and dependencies across the organization
• Drive cost estimates and Estimate at Complete updates to support informed program decisions
• Lead root cause variance analysis and generate actionable metrics for program leadership
