Job summary

Northrop Grumman in California seeks a Sr. Program Planning and Scheduling Manager 3 for the Air Dominance Division. This on‑site role can be based in San Diego, El Segundo, or Palmdale. Lead a cost/schedule team, drive EVMS compliance, and coordinate audits while partnering with program leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9 years in government defense cost or schedule management.
• Hands‑on experience in Program Planning / Scheduling or Cost using MS Project.
• Experience in Earned Value with government reporting.
• Active US clearance (within the past 6 years) or Continuous Evaluation.
• Willingness to travel domestically 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Program Planning & Scheduling Analysts.
• Provide day‑to‑day hands‑on support and guidance.
• Perform quarterly and year‑end performance reviews.
• Project management across multiple priorities and timelines.
• Support internal and external surveillance audits.
• Ensure EVMS compliance and integration with EVM.
• Support proposal bids and bid reviews.
• Advise leadership on schedule master reports and IPMR alignment.
