Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Sr. Program Planning and Scheduling Manager 3 for the Air Dominance Division.

The role is on-site in San Diego, CA, El Segundo, CA or Palmdale, CA, leading a team of cost analysts and coordinating program schedules with earned value management processes. Responsibilities include guiding EVMS implementation, SOX compliance, and audits, while delivering integrated cost/schedule reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 9 years in government defense cost or schedule management.
• Hands-on experience in Program Planning / Scheduling or Cost with Microsoft Project.
• Active US Government clearance (or Continuous Evaluation).
• Willingness to travel 10% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and train a team of cost analysts responsible for EVMS, SOX compliance, funding analysis, and contract deliverables.
• Provide program planning support to proposal bids and bid reviews; align schedules with EVM.
• Perform quarterly and year-end performance reviews; manage multiple priorities and timelines.
• Ensure full compliance with corporate policies and EVMS implementation; coordinate internal/external audits.
