Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) in California is seeking a Principal Program Planning Scheduling Analyst (Level 3) or Sr. Principal (Level 4) to join our team.

The role is on-site daily in Palmdale, CA or relocation to El Segundo or San Diego with travel up to 50%, no telework. Responsibilities include developing the integrated master schedule, ensuring cross-functional integration, performing risk analysis and managing variances with EVM practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in program planning, scheduling, and/or related fields, or Master’s with 3 years.
• Active Government Secret clearance or higher required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access.
• Experience with IMS development and EVM practices.
• Demonstrated MS Project experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and coordinates the integrated master plan and schedule.
• Ensures schedules are integrated across finance, engineering, and manufacturing.
• Tracks plans, performs risk analysis and resolves critical path conflicts.
• Uses PM tools to gauge progress and identify variances for action.
