Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Sr. Program Planning and Scheduling Manager 3 to lead a cost/schedule team in EVMS-heavy programs. On-site options include San Diego, El Segundo, or Palmdale, CA, with 10% travel and active clearance requirements.

The role emphasizes program integration, audits, and leadership to deliver balanced, compliant schedules and trusted customer relationships in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years in government defense cost or schedule management or 7+ years with a Master’s.
• Hands-on experience in Program Planning / Scheduling or Cost using scheduling software.
• Experience in Earned Value with government reporting.
• Prior leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Program Planning & Scheduling Analysts.
• Provide day-to-day hands-on support and guidance to analysts.
• Perform quarterly and year-end performance reviews.
• Coordinate internal and external surveillance audits and audits.
• Advise leadership on integrating schedules with EVMS.
