Job summary

Exelon Corporation in Baltimore is seeking a Principal Business Program Manager to lead centralized risk management for major Transmission and Substation projects. You will partner with Project Initiation leadership, Project Controls, Engineering, Planning, Finance, and Investment Strategy to identify risks early and drive governance decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a business or STEM field with 7–10 years relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of standards, methods, processes and metrics in the supported area.
• Proficient in MS Project, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint for portfolio management.
• Strong business acumen, analytical, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
• Ability to lead a cross-functional team and build consensus.
• In lieu of degree, 9–12 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve PIT’s portfolio-wide project risk management framework.
• Lead risk identification with cross-functional stakeholders using workshops and reviews.
• Coordinate risk mitigation with Investment Strategy, Finance, and Engineering.
• Track risk owners, mitigations, aging risks, and escalation items.
• Develop portfolio-level risk reporting, dashboards, and executive narratives.
• Drive risk management process improvements and training materials.
• Provide analytical and program management support to the PIT.
• Manage large, complex projects, ensuring delivery time and budget.
