Exelon Corporation is seeking a Principal Business Program Manager to join the Project Initiation Team. You will establish centralized ownership, visibility, and early risk identification across major Transmission and Substation capital projects.

You will integrate risk with scope, schedule and cost to improve readiness and financial predictability. The role requires at least 7–10 years of relevant experience, advanced software proficiency, and the ability to lead cross-functional risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a business or STEM field.
• Advanced knowledge of standards, methods, processes and practices in the functional area.
• Proficiency with project portfolio management and related software.
• Strong problem solving, financial/analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage PIT’s portfolio-wide project risk management framework.
• Lead risk identification with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Coordinate risk mitigation aligning with capital planning and governance.
• Track risk owners, mitigation commitments and escalation items.
• Develop and present portfolio-level risk reporting and dashboards.
• Drive risk management process improvements and templates.
• Provide analytical and program management support to the Project Initiation Team.
• Manage large, complex projects within scope, time, and budget.
