Baltimore Gas and Electric, a subsidiary of Exelon, is seeking a Principal Business Program Manager to lead front-end risk management for major Transmission and Substation capital projects. You will establish centralized risk ownership, elevate portfolio risks, and enable proactive governance decisions across Planning, Engineering, Finance, and Regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business or STEM field with 7-10 years relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus portfolio management tools.
• Strong business acumen with advanced problem solving and financial/analytical skills.
• Proven ability to lead a cross-functional team and build consensus.
• Excellent written and oral communication and stakeholder engagement.
• In lieu of degree, 9-12 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve PIT’s portfolio-wide project risk framework and governance.
• Lead structured risk identification with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple domains.
• Coordinate risk mitigation strategies to align with capital planning and contingency decisions.
• Track risk owners, aging risks, and escalation items to keep the risk register current.
• Develop portfolio-level risk reporting, dashboards, and executive narratives.
• Drive process improvements, templates, and training for consistent risk information use.
• Provide analytical and program management support to the Project Initiation Team.
• Manage large, complex projects to deliver on time and within budget.
