Job summary

SPCC Society for the Protection & Care of Children in New York seeks a Supervised Visitation Program Manager to provide strategic leadership for the SVP, translate priorities into goals, and ensure high-quality, safe services for children and families.

This role supervises the Assistant Manager of Operations and Training and three SVP Supervisors, overseeing budget, reporting, staffing, and compliance, while partnering with funders and community partners to strengthen services.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, public administration, or related field preferred.
• At least five years of program supervision and people-management experience in human services.
• At least three years of experience working with families involved with child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for SVP programming, translating priorities into measurable goals and accountability.
• Establish best-practice standards grounded in SPCC’s Mission and trauma-informed care.
• Hold final accountability for SVP service quality, safety, and compliance with policies and funder requirements.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing allocations, and reporting to ensure program effectiveness.
• Supervise and develop SVP leadership and support teams through reflective supervision.
• Coordinate with funders and partners to address barriers and strengthen services.
