Job summary

Ladders seeks a Senior Program Manager/Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering and design management for a large industrial program. You will align technical execution with project goals from design through closeout, coordinating with engineering teams, stakeholders, and clients to maintain quality and delivery.

This remote role requires hands-on technical oversight balanced with program management experience in manufacturing or automotive settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of experience in engineering or related fields.
• Proven leadership in multidisciplinary engineering or design management for large industrial or government projects.
• Experience managing technical activities through all project phases: design, procurement, construction, closeout.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex design and operational issues.
• Knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and project delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering and design management activities across the program.
• Establish engineering management procedures and performance expectations.
• Direct engineering teams and coordinate multiple engineering disciplines.
• Review and coordinate design criteria, calculations, and technical documents.

• Prepare technical status reports and represent Technical Services in client meetings.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Program Manager/Engineering Manager to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.
This role will oversee multidisciplinary engineering and design management across a complex program environment, with responsibility for aligning technical execution to project goals from design through closeout. The position requires close coordination with engineering teams, project stakeholders, and client representatives to maintain quality, solve technical issues, and keep program delivery on track. It is a strong fit for an experienced engineering leader who can balance hands-on technical oversight with program-level management in a large industrial setting.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $125,100 – $225,200 annually
