Job summary

National Grid seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead a portfolio of Non-Wires Alternatives (NWA) projects across Massachusetts. You will coordinate across Marketing, Procurement, Legal, and Operations to deliver cost-effective grid solutions.

The role requires a strong PM background, DER expertise, and experience drafting RFPs. Travel within MA and surrounding areas will be required as projects advance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Economics, or equivalent experience in utilities/energy sector (Master's preferred).
• 3-5 years of project or program management experience; 6 years minimum without degree.
• Strong understanding of distributed energy resources (DERs) including energy efficiency, demand response, energy storage, NWAs, and distributed generation.
• Experience drafting RFPs and conducting benefit/cost analyses.
• Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and management of a portfolio of NWA solutions using utility assets, customer programs, and grid services.
• Provide end-to-end project management for multiple NWA initiatives.
• Act as primary liaison between internal teams and third-party contractors/subcontractors.
• Prepare and present reports to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
• Travel within Massachusetts is occasionally required.
