Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Senior Program Manager for the MA service territory to lead the deployment of Non-Wires Alternatives (NWAs) and grid flexibility initiatives. You will coordinate across internal teams and external partners to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and reports for leadership.

The role requires strong program management, DER knowledge, and experience with RFPs, budgets, and scheduling, with travel within Massachusetts as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, Economics, or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years of project or program management experience with multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Experience drafting RFPs and conducting benefit/cost analyses.
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and management of a portfolio of NWA solutions addressing grid constraints.
• Drive innovation in NWA deployment and reporting mechanisms.
• Act as liaison between internal teams and third-party contractors/subcontractors.
• Provide end-to-end project management for multiple NWA initiatives.
• Perform opportunity screening and benefit/cost analysis; develop RFPs; oversee budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate regulatory strategy for NWAs and prepare/ deliver reports to leadership.
