Job summary

LG Magna USA, Inc. in Troy, Michigan is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead electric vehicle development programs. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timing plans, and serve as the main liaison to OEM customers and LG Magna headquarters in Korea.

The role requires a strong background in automotive program management, with a focus on delivering on schedule while managing issues and risk. This position offers full-time employment and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of Program Management experience working directly with a customer in automotive industry.
• Understanding of automotive component development process and manufacturing process.
• Good knowledge of OEM process and requirements.
• Good skills to use MS Project and MS Office.
• Understanding of cost structure.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with management tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create development timing plan and manage activities to launch program.
• Coordinate to release electric vehicle component software & hardware to customer.
• Be the point of contact for customer and LG-Magna on program details.
• Support weekly meetings with customers to share development status and track issues.
• Maintain Program Status Reports and use them as a management tool.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track timelines and milestones.
• Attend internal and customer meetings, including global sessions.
