Job summary

LG Magna e-Powertrain USA, Inc. is expanding its team in Troy, MI, seeking a highly motivated Power Electronics Engineer to join our engineering group focused on electric vehicle powertrain development.

You will work closely with customers and the HQ to deliver robust power electronics solutions. The role requires a Bachelor's in electrical/electronic engineering and at least 5 years in development engineering within automotive or related industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of development engineering experience in automotive or related industries.
• Experience in power electronics, converters and inverters is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical communication with HQ and customers to ensure clear requirements.
• Provide on-site engineering support and service at customer locations as needed.
• Drive technical risk reporting and support RFQ/RFP processes with HQ and cross-functional teams.
