Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Sr. Program Manager to lead production programs and platform integration across domestic and international platforms. You will manage multiple contracts, oversee cost/schedule/technical execution, and maintain strong customer relationships in a matrix organization.

The role requires 8+ years in program management, DoD/aerospace experience, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Onsite in Aberdeen, MD with ~25% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years' experience leading multi-disciplined teams.
• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• PM experience for programs valued up to $25M
• Experience working in the defense and/or aerospace market with U.S. Department of Defense or other Government agencies and OEMs
• Demonstrated experience in leading development programs and Capture/proposals
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and sustain positive customer relationships
• Demonstrated understanding and proficient use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management or similar business processes
• Proficient in managing multiple contract types (CPFF, FFP, DCS, FMS)
• Effective communication/presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to engage foreign customers and travel both domestically and internationally as required, (~25%)
