Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, seeks a Senior Program Manager in Marlborough, MA to drive on-time execution of government contracts, change management, and cross-functional leadership.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, 10+ years of leadership in defense/aerospace, DoD contracting experience, and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Master’s degree and RTX certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent years of work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in government, defense, aerospace or related industry.
• Experience with Government contracting requirements and the DoD acquisition management process.
• Experience leading development and production programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assures on-time execution of contracts and proposal submittals through empowerment, communication, setting expectations, and building teams.
• Requirements and contract change management.
• Leads collaboration across functional groups and subcontractors to ensure program success.
• Establishes roadmaps to drive down cost and improve performance.
• Maintains relationships with customers and leadership to secure funding.
