Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Sr. Program Manager in Aberdeen, MD, to lead production programs and platform integration across domestic and international platforms.

You’ll manage multiple contracts, communications with customers, and DMS management, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical execution. The role requires ensuring team skill alignment, developing high-performing teams, and delegating work in a matrix organization to achieve results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience leading multi-disciplined teams and winning military and/or commercial contract awards.
• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience or Advanced Degree with minimum 7 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• PM experience for programs valued up to $25M
• Experience in defense/aerospace with U.S. DoD or OEMs
• Experience leading development programs and Capture/proposals
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and sustain positive customer relationships
• Proficient use of program management tools such as EVMS, IMP/IMS, Risk and Opportunity Management

Responsibilities

• Accountable for full lifecycle of products and services from inception through completion, including pursuit, design, production, support and long-term plans.
• Chair the Program Management Team (PMT) to manage contract lifecycle, cost, schedule, performance and on-time delivery.
• Serve as the face of the organization to clients and customers.
• Hold P&L responsibility for a specified value stream within a business segment or portfolio.
