SCAN Health Insurance is hiring a Senior Program Manager - Access to Care to oversee multiple strategic initiatives and cross-functional programs within our nonprofit health plan. You will plan, budget, allocate resources, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery while guiding enterprise-level projects to improve provider partnerships and market growth.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and data-driven decision making, with a mostly remote work mode and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of related experience with a health plan, managed care, or other healthcare organization.
• 5 years of leadership experience with ability to mentor others.
• Optimizes work processes and designs efficient workflows.
• Strong business insight and ability to translate vision into priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; builds cross-functional relationships.
• Advanced project management and proficiency with MS Office, Visio, SQL.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee programs aligned with enterprise strategy and execution.
• Lead cross-functional teams; plan, budget, staff, and monitor performance.
• Promote programs and track engagement across the organization.
• Supervise staff to ensure timely completion and quality.
• Analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness against KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and external regulations.
• Provide reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead health plan market management and access to care initiatives.
• Take ownership of special strategic projects and drive value.
