Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) in Providence, RI seeks a Program Supervisor for Family Coaching & Visitation to lead a trauma‑informed, multi‑disciplinary team delivering supervised visitation, parent coaching, case management, transportation, and program support to help families reunify with their children.

The role emphasizes Medicaid and contract compliance, staff development, and ensuring program goals are met through collaboration with DCYF and the program director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in human services.
• Minimum 5 years of comparable experience with children and families.
• Knowledge of the child welfare system.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, coach, discipline and train staff.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and supervised visitation services.
• Oversee completion of initial assessments and treatment plans within 30 days.
• Ensure timely performance evaluations for case managers.
• Provide supervision and professional development support.
• Carry visitation caseload and complete documentation.
• Transport clients as needed.
