Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) seeks a Program Supervisor for Family Coaching & Visitation (FCV) in Providence, RI. You will supervise case managers, oversee assessments, and ensure program goals align with service plans and DCYF requirements.

The role requires leadership, trauma-informed practice, and strong communication. Travel within RI and coordination with the program director are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human services with at least 5 years of comparable work.
• Knowledge of child welfare and reunification processes strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to diverse audiences.
• Previous supervisory experience and staff development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, coaching, case management and visitation services to FCV families.
• Oversee initial assessments and treatment plans for assigned children within 30 days.
• Ensure contract and Medicaid compliance; coordinate with program director on compliance matters.
• Supervise, train and evaluate FCV case managers; provide ongoing professional development.
• Deliver staff onboarding, reflective supervision and developmentally appropriate parent coaching.
• Maintain regular contact with DCYF and ensure accurate documentation and visit safety.
