Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island seeks a qualified supervisor to provide supervised visitation, parent coaching, and case management for families pursuing reunification. The role includes coordinating assessments, ensuring treatment plan development, and supporting clinical staff within a trauma-informed, multi-disciplinary team.

You will supervise program clinicians and case managers, assist with contract and Medicaid compliance, and provide clinical consultation to support safe reunification.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree and independent clinical licensure.
• Two years of experience with children and families in relevant settings preferred.
• Knowledge of child welfare system and Medicaid/contracts desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervised visitation, parent coaching, case management and transportation.
• Oversee initial assessments and treatment plans for assigned families.
• Review documentation (court letters, treatment plans, visits) and ensure timely completion of evaluations.
• Provide supervision, support, and professional development for staff.
• Ensure contract, Medicaid compliance and program coverage.
• Travel to client's residences and sites as needed.
• Deliver trainings and onboarding support to staff.
