Family Service of RI (FSRI) seeks a dedicated professional to provide coaching, supervision and education during parental visits for families pursuing reunification. You will communicate with DCYF, prepare weekly summaries and court letters, and coordinate with families and providers to support treatment goals.

The role also involves case management and transportation for visits as needed, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends to meet family needs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with families and children in human services, child development, education, child and family treatment.
• Prior experience working with children and families involved in child welfare strongly preferred.
• Experience providing supervised visitation is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills highly preferred.
• Strong writing skills.
• Ability to use MS Office programs, mainframe systems and Internet.

Responsabilités

• Provide coaching, support, supervision and education during parental visits with children placed out of the home.
• Communicate with DCYF including weekly visitation summaries and court letters.
• Coordinate with families and providers to support treatment work.
• Provide case management.
• Provide transportation for children to and from visits as needed.
