Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) seeks a qualified professional to join the Family Coaching & Visitation program in Providence. The role provides supervised visitation, parent coaching, case management, and program support within a trauma-informed, multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities include clinical collaboration with the program clinician and managers, ensuring Medicaid/contract compliance, and applying treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and independent clinical licensure; at least 2 years working with children and families.
• Knowledge of the child welfare system.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Supervisory experience; ability to train and coach staff.
• Willingness to travel; valid driver's license and transportation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Evenings and Saturdays required; Tue-Sat schedule.
• Bilingual/ASL and multilingual abilities add compensation.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervised visitation, parent coaching, case management and program support.
• Collaborate with program clinician and case managers on assessments and treatment plans.
• Ensure Medicaid and contract compliance and implementation of treatment plan goals.
• Supervise, train and develop program staff; review documentation.
• Develop trainings with the program director for staff development.
• Provide transportation and ensure visit safety; manage caseloads as needed.
