Job summary

Draper, based in Cambridge, MA, seeks an experienced program manager to oversee complex, full-lifecycle projects. You will own execution, establish baselines, and coordinate with functional teams to ensure cost, schedule, and technical targets are met.

Qualifications

• 7 years professional experience in project/program management in commercial or defense industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, business or related field preferred.
• Strong DoW/IC customer understanding and contracting procedures.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
• Experience managing programs through all product lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Own overall program execution, meeting cost, schedule and technical performance targets.
• Establish program baselines and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate with functional teams to recruit and develop key talent.
• Manage all phases from inception to completion and ensure deliverables meet requirements.
• Act as primary customer contact and lead review sessions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on supplier performance.
• Identify risks and opportunities and apply corrective actions.
• Develop customer partnerships and expand existing products/technologies.
• Provide leadership to maintain high team morale and conduct negotiations when needed.
