Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Program Manager 2-Production to lead complex production programs and guide them from planning to production handover. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure cost, schedule, and technical goals are met while building strong customer relationships.

The role requires extensive program management experience in government-regulated environments, PMP certification is preferred, and a focus on continuous improvement and quality

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of project/program management tools and processes such as EVMS, IMP/IMS and risk management.
• Experience working with government projects/programs with direct customer interfaces.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver on cost, schedule, and technical targets.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing/production environments is desirable.
• PMI PMP certification preferred.
• AS9100D or ISO9001 (or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own overall program execution to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance for medium to large programs of significant complexity.
• Establish baseline performance measurement and allocate resources accordingly.
• Lead teams and act as primary customer contact for program activities and reviews.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and manage suppliers for continued performance.
• Identify risks and opportunities and drive appropriate actions to meet objectives.
• Support contract negotiations, reporting, and changes; ensure adherence to QMS and customer requirements.
