Job summary

Draper Labs in Reston, Virginia is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee complex, medium to large projects through full lifecycle. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage cost, schedule, and technical performance, and serve as main customer liaison.

The role requires strong EVMS/IMS expertise, 7+ years in PM, and a proven track record with government programs. Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, business, or related technical field.
• At least 7 years of project/program management experience in commercial or defense sectors.
• Experience with EVMS/IMP/IMS and risk/issue management.
• Proven ability to manage programs through all lifecycle stages.
• Experience with government projects and customer interfaces.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own program execution across cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Establish performance baselines and allocate resources.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and manage suppliers.
• Lead customer communications and review sessions.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure quality and compliance.
• Develop and maintain open, inclusive team environment.
• Manage all project phases from inception to completion.
• Coordinate win strategy and proposals.
