Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Senior Manager, Program Management to guide the Orion portfolio from pursuit to delivery and support. You will lead the Integrated Project Team, balancing cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer commitments across multiple product lines.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functions to resolve challenges, influence decisions, and position products for growth. This onsite role is based in Windsor Locks, CT.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 7 years.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex programs in aerospace/defense or similarly regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of program management systems and disciplines, including resource planning, scheduling, cost controls, and EVMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the re-application of existing products and programs while supporting new programs across multiple product lines.
• Manage program changes and implement enhanced functionality across offerings.
• Serve as a primary contact for multiple customers, building relationships and ensuring commitments are delivered.
• Influence internal teams and customers to align priorities and meet program commitments.
• Lead matrixed IPTs across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Own overall performance of assigned value streams, including cost, schedule, and delivery.
• Evaluate complex issues, apply sound judgment, and drive decisions to keep programs moving forward.
• Build networks and communicate priorities across IPTs and stakeholders.
