Collins Aerospace in Cheshire, CT is hiring a Program/Product Manager for the Inertial Systems team. This onsite role leads engineering projects, customer contact, and program execution, including budgets, schedules, and risk management.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in project/program management, solid knowledge of FAR/DFAR, and U.S. citizenship. Travel up to 20% domestically may be required as part of program responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant work.
• Demonstrated experience in project or program management of complex initiatives.
• Working knowledge of U.S. government contracting regulations (FAR/DFAR).
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business plans to grow the Inertial Systems business within Collins Aerospace.
• Lead pursuit, order capture, proposals, and negotiations with customers.
• Own budgets, cadence briefings, and coordination with IPTs to meet objectives.
• Manage program execution, including NRE development, hardware sales, and risk management.
• Ensure contracts are aligned with requirements and compliant with regulations.
